If you have questions please call the church office. The fee schedule for this year has changed some what and because of changes at the camp the prices have been raised. However, there are scholarships available so please contact Merrell N if you need to take advantage of the scholarships. We want everyone who has a desire to attend to come so please take advantage of the scholarship if needed. Keep a sharp eye on the credenza for retreat registration and further information that will be available soon.
The retreat is held every Labor Day weekend at Beaver Creek UMC Youth Camp at South Fork, CO. This is an opportunity for the church family of all ages to have fun, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. The spiritual program changes every year. Standard accommodations are shared family cabins (about 8-10 persons per cabin), use your RV at Beaver Creek, or use local motels.
“JESUS IN THE GOSPELS”
We will be starting a "Jesus in the Gospels" study group on September 11. This study is a follow-on to the Disciples Bible studies and is part of the series that produced "Christian Believer." "Jesus in the Gospels" focuses on Jesus' words and actions, on how the four Gospels work together to paint a picture of Jesus, and on helping us to understand the context of the times and the people with which Jesus interacted. There are no prerequisites - anyone is welcome! The 30-week study includes daily reading in the Bible and study guide, and a two-hour group session with video presentations by leading theologians and lots of discussion. The group session will be every Sunday evening from 6-8:00 at the church. Child care will be provided.
Please consider joining us for this journey! Let Greg V know by August 21 if you are interested or have questions.
